The Carrera Classic Cultured Marble Urn for Ashes is a rectangular urn with high durability. This urn meets the requirements of most cemeteries for use in ground burial with no need for a separate urn vault. Made in the USA by MacKenzie Vault, this cremation urn is handcrafted of crushed stone, resin, and color pigments. All of these materials are carefully selected for their strength and organic beauty. Given the variations in cultured marble material, the urn may differ in appearance from the image displayed.
The urn compartment is accessed via a single large threaded screw. The round opening for the screw measures 4 inches across. The capacity of this urn is 210 cubic inches (will hold the ashes of a person who weighed 210 lbs. or less prior to cremation).
Do you need to travel with the urn? This cultured marble urn is appropriate for airline travel with the TSA guidelines as it can be x-rayed.
