The Eclipse Ceramic Tealight Urn - Natural Green is a candle holder combined with a small urn. This urn can hold a small amount of a loved one's ashes and -- with its candle feature -- provide comfort in a time of loss. Lighting a candle in remembrance is a powerful ritual relied on for centuries. This tealight urn is made by a ceramic artist exclusively for Stardust Memorials.

A small urn, the Eclipse Ceramic Tealight Urn - Seabreeze can hold about one cup of ashes in the base. A standard tealight candle fits within the recessed area in the lid. The lid can be adhered permanently to the base if desired using a glue like e6000. One candle is provided with each tealight urn.

Like other ceramic stoneware, this piece is made from clay, shaped on a potter's wheel, glazed, and then fired to achieve the durability and look. The glaze has a soft green hue. Made in USA.

Keepsake urns are commonly used to hold a small portion of ashes after the majority of the ashes have been scattered, buried, or placed in a columbarium. Some families purchase multiple small urns and divide the ashe. Given its handcrafted nature, the urn you receive can vary in shape, dimensions (by less than a half inch), and glaze effects from the image shown.
