Shipping Methods and Policies for Cremation Urns

PROCESSING TIME

Next Business Day and Second Business Day orders received before 2:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, ship the same day. Orders received after 2:00 PM Eastern Time ship the next business day. Ground orders received before 2 PM EST typically ship the same day but occasionally ship the next business day. Orders are not shipped nor delivered on Saturday or Sunday. Orders are not picked up nor delivered by our carriers on six U.S. national holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

AVAILABLE SHIPPING METHODS AND COSTS

Stardust Memorials offers free Standard Ground in the lower 48 states and the most affordable express shipping options in our industry. Some of our competitors hide their excessive express shipping costs until checkout is nearly complete. You can avoid this surprise, save money, and get your item when you need it by purchasing from Stardust Memorials.

Standard Ground

Standard Ground shipping is free on all purchases to the lower 48 states. Standard Ground from our Michigan facility to most of the continental U.S. takes 2-3 business days. Delivery to the west coast states such as Washington, California, Oregon and Nevada typically takes 4 business days.

Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii is available as well for a flat fee of $35 per order. Shipping is usually via FedEx except for lightweight packages, which normally travel USPS.

Express Shipping

  • Second Business Day service is available for just $20 to anywhere in the continental U.S. This rate covers your entire order, regardless of size. With Second Business Day service, if your order is submitted by 2PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, your order ships that same day and you receive it two business days later. For example, an order placed Monday before 2PM would be received Wednesday. An order placed after 2PM on a Thursday would ship on Friday and arrive on Tuesday.

  • Next Business Day service (one business day) is available for $35 to anywhere in the continental U.S. This rate covers your entire order, regardless of size. With Next Day service, if your order is submitted by 2PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, your order ships that same day and you receive your order the next business day. For example, an order placed Monday before 2PM would be received Tuesday.

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

International shipping to Canada is available on all purchases at the most competitive rates in the industry, and we ship to other countries as well.

Any package sent to an international address is typically carried by an appropriate USPS international service, but UPS or FedEx international services may be used. Most international customers receive their orders within 10-14 business days. Because packages must pass through U.S. customs as well as the customs of your country, we cannot predict exact delivery time frames.

All duties and taxes owed are the responsibility of the purchaser. You may be required to pay such duties and taxes at the time of delivery. Because duties and taxes are imposed by the purchaser’s country, Stardust Memorials cannot predict what those costs may be for your product and address.

Prices shown on the Stardust Memorials website are in U.S. dollars. International orders are charged in US Dollars to the purchaser's credit card. The purchaser's bank or credit card company then converts the total into the purchaser's currency at the current exchange rate.

FREQUENTLY ASKED SHIPPING QUESTIONS

Post Office Boxes & APO/FPO Shipments

In the case of shipments to P.O. boxes and APO/FPO address, USPS ship methods are always used.

What If No One is at Home at the Time of Delivery?

Small packages shipped using USPS services will be delivered to the mailbox. Larger packages shipped via FedEx or UPS will be left at the door if no one is home at the time of delivery. Signature is not required.

Can I Place an Order and Have it Delivered Elsewhere?

Yes, you can. On checkout you will have the option of having your ordered billed to one address and shipped to a different address.

Address Correction

If we are provided with an incorrect shipping address, the package will need to be re-routed to the correct address. This will cause a delay. Please be careful to put the correct and complete address in the shipping information section at checkout to avoid this situation.

Stardust Memorials, LLC cannot be responsible for packages that are delayed or cannot be delivered due to an incorrect address, acts of God (such as weather), mistake by FedEx, UPS, or USPS, or other such circumstances that are beyond our control.
