To place ashes inside the Angel Wings Ceramic Keepsake Urn - Ivory, you pull out and set aside the plug in the bottom. Stardust Memorials recommends placing a small bag inside the opening -- leaving the edges of the bag outside -- and then transferring a small amount of ashes (half cup or less) into the bag. You can tie the bag closed and tuck inside. Once your loved one's ashes are inside, the plug should be secured by sealing it to the urn base with a glue designed for ceramics, such as E6000. 

 

 
Glazed in a green tone with melange highlights, the Wings Ceramic Keepsake Urn Serene is a mini cremation urn with the capacity of 10 cubic inches (approximately 1/2 cup of ashes). 
 
To ensure a secure closure and prevent spillage, this urn should be sealed with a ceramic-safe adhesive such as E6000.
