Description

This Inner Light Ceramic Tealight Urn is crafted from clay and glazed in a finish called blue craquelure. This shade of blue glaze is described by some as light turquoise and others as a deep robin's egg blue. When fired, the glaze develops a crackled effect -- a web of small lines -- giving it a textured look.
 
Ceramic is the perfect material for a small candleholder urn -- the fired clay is durable for holding the ashes and can handle the heat of the candlelight. Tealight urns are a newer product where you can "keep" a small amount of ashes near you and also light a candle in remembrance. One tealight candle is included.
 
The Inner Light Ceramic Tealight Urn Blue is made by the ceramic artists of Pulvis Arts, a company based in Bulgaria known for its commitment to art and beauty.
 
With a 30 cubic inch capacity, the Inner Light Ceramic Tealight Urn - Blue is an extra small urn that can hold a portion of person's ashes (approximately 2 cups). The opening for this urn is at the bottom / base. Once ashes are placed inside, the ceramic cap / stopper should be affixed to the base with a ceramic-safe adhesive such as E9000 to provide a secure closure.
