Sized for the ashes of an adult, the Inner Light Ceramic Urn - Black has a capacity of 200 cubic inches (can hold the ashes of a person who weighed 200 lbs. or less prior to cremation). 
 
The opening for this urn is at the bottom / base. Once ashes are placed inside, the ceramic cap / stopper should be affixed to the base with a ceramic-safe adhesive such as E9000 to provide a secure closure.
