This cremation jewelry pendant comes with an 18-inch silver-plated rope chain. The light and pretty rope chain ties in nicely with the whimsical bee. A tiny screw in the bottom can be opened to access the inner ash compartment and then rescrewed and sealed to close.
Before the pendant is worn, the filling and sealing guide to cremation jewelry (included with purchase) should be followed carefully. Once the pinch of ashes has been placed inside, the screw should be sealed using the adhesive provided. The manufacturer does not recommend showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping while wearing the pendant due to increased exposure to moisture. Moisture can expedite the tarnishing process and degrade the adhesive that keeps the ashes secure inside the pendant.
