Description
The Defender Graystone Ground Burial Urn - Cross & Ray is designed for burial of ashes in the earth. This container is not intended to hold a cremation urn -- just the ashes. This ground burial urn has a gray granite-look finish and includes a Cross & Ray decorative plate. A plain brass nameplate also is provided and can be engraved with a loved one's name or personal message.
The capacity of this ground burial urn is 175 cubic inches (can hold the ashes of a person who weighed 175 lbs. or less prior to cremation).
Made of polymer, the Defender Graystone Ground Burial Urn - Cross & Ray is meant to withstand significant weight and pressure when buried (tested for up to 4080 lbf -- top load pressure). At each corner, a brass bolt secures the lid to the base for tight closure. Adhesive also is provided for additional protection along the seal. The polymer construction will not corrode when placed in the ground.
