Description
Sturdy and strong, the Defender Graystone Ground Burial Urn - Mountain Forest has the look of granite in speckled black and gray. This product is designed for ground burial of ashes. This container is not intended to hold a cremation urn -- just the ashes. This ground burial urn includes a Mountain Forest decorative plate as well as a nameplate for personalization if desired.
The capacity of this ground burial urn is 175 cubic inches (can hold the ashes of a person who weighed 175 lbs. or less prior to cremation).
The Defender Graystone Ground Burial Urn - Mountain Forest has thick walls of polymer -- designed to withstand significant weight and pressure when buried (tested for up to 4080 lbf -- top load pressure). At each corner, a brass bolt secures the lid to the base for tight closure. Adhesive also is provided for additional protection along the seal. The polymer construction will not corrode when placed in the ground.
