Crafted from oak, the Holden Wood Urn for Ashes - Medium is finished in the popular cherry stain -- highlighting the grain. To achieve its simple design, this urn does not have decorative edges but rather has crisp corners as the sides come together.

On the bottom of the urn is a panel that can be removed when the family is ready to place the ashes inside. Once the ashes are inside, the panel can be replaced and then the screws re-secured to close the urn.

The capacity of the Holden Wood Urn for Ashes - Medium is 173 cubic inches (can contain the ashes of a person who weighed 173 pounds or less prior to cremation or a portion of an adult's ashes).
