The Small Journey Biodegradable Urn - Lily is a water burial urn sized for smaller needs with a contemporary lily design. This small scattering urn is designed to contain a portion of ashes. You can take this envelope-shaped urn to your preferred body of water and set it adrift -- where the ashes will disperse into the water once the urn has gone under the surface and released its contents.

The Small Journey Biodegradable Urn - Lily is an earth-friendly choice -- made of organic paper derived from the bark of mulberry trees and recycled cardboard. No trees are cut down to produce this urn as the mulberry bark is harvested in a sustainable manner. The urn is a soft white color with the blue-green lily pattern repeating on the front and back.

To use this urn, the side of the envelope folds open, the ashes are placed in a water soluble bag, then the bag is placed inside the urn, and the side is folded closed again. A paper "band" keeps it securely closed until you are ready for the scattering ceremony. Once launched on water, the Small Journey Biodegradable Urn - Lily will float briefly, sink, and break down naturally over time.
