Description
The Valley View Medium Wood Urn is made of burlwood and holds a portion of ashes. This urn for ashes stands 8.5 inches tall and has recessed edges at the top and bottom. Overall the urn has a clean, simple design but the edges are a pleasing detail. Families appreciate the larger area for engraving on the front of this urn.
Constructed of burlwood, the Valley View Medium Wood Urn is stained with a cherry finish. The woodgrain of the burlwood does come through -- giving the urn a different look than the similar style in birch wood.
In terms of size, the capacity of the Valley View Medium Wood Urn - Burlwood/Cherry Finish is 144 cubic inches (can contain the ashes of a person who weighed 144 pounds or less prior to cremation or a portion of an adult's ashes). Thus the urn is medium size.
Ashes can be placed inside this urn by removing the bottom panel, putting them inside, and then re-securing the panel with the screws provided.
