A 20-inch stainless steel chain is included with this pendant, so it is ready to wear.
To place ashes inside, a small screw in the bottom can be unscrewed -- revealing the hidden inner compartment (see image). Before the pendant is worn, the filling and sealing guide should be followed carefully. Once the ashes have been placed inside, the piece should be sealed using the adhesive provided.
The manufacturer does not recommend wearing this piece while showering, swimming, exercising, or sleeping due to increased exposure to moisture. Moisture can degrade the adhesive that keeps the ashes secure inside the pendant.
